The Exhibition “Thoub: The Cross-point of Palestinian Identities” is a project organized by This Week in Palestine magazine together with SG Italy and curated by Taisir Masrieh Hasbun.
The multimedia traveling Exhibition highlights the historical, political, artistic and social values of the Palestinian art of embroidery (tatreez) in the past 150 years.
The different media used in the exhibition lead the visitor through an immersive experience that involves all senses with very detailed images of one to one scale thoubs, original garments and accessories, original women songs, videos, informative material and sound effects.
